Why does the young creative scene know so few about the structure and the content of the public cultural and educational politics and the public and educational politic so few about the young creative scene? Why don’t have companies, which want to take on public political responsibility often any knowledge about important cultural projects and those any knowledge of public committed firms?
The jungle of cultural variety and its possibilities is often impenetrable. And at that point Go Between works as an interpreter between creative people, creative artist, public cultural structures and the economy. Go Between shows structures and new ways which can be effective for the future of the creative economy, show the economy new perspectives and create opportunities to commit themselves socially.
Oliver Daniel Sopalla – Master of Business Administration and musicologist with long-term experience in the media and music sector – and Stefanie Thomczyk – with broad experience as culture manager, project initiator and project director – are the StartArt 2002 winner of the North Rhine-Westphalia department of trade and industry.
